    Design Integration Management (8 CEHs) Effective integration of the distinctly different design and construction processes is a critical management responsibility for a successful Design-Build project. This course explores the fundamental aspects associated with successful management of design within an integrated delivery framework, focusing on the critical role of the design manager and the importance of blending the distinct cultures of designers and builders. Course materials include practical tools, information, and advice needed to successfully fulfill the role of the Design Manager and is integrated with the Design Management Guide for the Design-Build Environment, Edition 2. Target Audience: Any project team member looking to understand how to achieve Design Excellence through Design-Build. At the end of the course the students will be able to: • Describe the business drivers in Design-Build • Understand the different ways Owners Select a Design-Build team • Understand how to build and sustain a successful Design-Build Team • Describe the unique aspects of Design-Build contracts and subcontracts • Understand Design-Build schedule and cost control • Describe the integration of design and construction during a Design-Build project
