FMI’s recent study projects design-build will reach 47% of U.S. construction spending and exceed $1 trillion by 2028. Within that expansion, Progressive Design-Build (PDB) now accounts for roughly one-third of design-build procurements, with adoption accelerating on projects facing technical complexity, cost volatility and evolving scope.
