Join us for breakfast on September 21 and a presentation on the history, current practice, and future of Design-Build at MnDOT.  Peter Davich will discuss MnDOT’s historically strong partnership with Minnesota’s AGC, tracing it back to legislation written together that paved the way for Design-Build in Minnesota.  As practices continue evolving to balance risks more appropriately and make way for future advancement, the current state of Design-Build in Minnesota is stable.  Looking toward the future, MnDOT is considering increasing the use of bundled or fixed cost Design-Build projects, passing more responsibility to prepared teams, and possibly considering Progressive Design-Build.
