Beginning with the owner's goals and objectives in mind, the virtual design & construction (VDC) planning effort elevates everyone's thinking to a more integrated, strategic level of how to embrace BIM-enabled technologies and workflows to drive value throughout the project lifecycle. Now more than ever, VDC is becoming an integral component of early project planning to help define stakeholder goals and streamlining the design-build delivery process. This panel conversation collects the various stakeholder perspectives on how the BJC Campus Renewal Design-Build Project Team has leveraged a VDC-focused framework to help foster the project's integrated design work planning and alignment of design deliverables to construction needs downstream, along with a deeper conversation of success stories and tales of collaboration about VDC’s impact in the PLAN, DESIGN, CONSTRUCT and OPERATE phases of the project delivery lifecycle.
