For the past 20 years, Hamid Tabassian has served in various capacities at the JacksonvilleTransportation Authority (JTA) with responsibilities for the development and implementation ofthe Authority’s Bond and The Better Jacksonville Plan (BJP) roadway/bridge programs andtransit capital programs. He is currently responsible for the Design & Engineering Departmentfunctions in the Construction & Capital Programs Division. Prior to joining JTA, he served at theVirgina Department of Transportation (VDOT) Structure and Bridge Central Office for 12 years.Hamid is a graduate of University of Missouri and received his master in Structural Engineeringfrom University of Virginia.
